Mum
My mum is in her early sixties and enjoys early retirement. She is very active in cancer charities and support groups,
and enjoys cooking and needlework. She loves spoiling me when I visit my parents in Cologne and always has all my favourite
foods ready. Both she and my dad have a serious travel bug and every year go on several large trip, such as Bali, India, South
Africa, and usually someplace near me.

Dad
My dad is 3 years older than my mum and also in early retirement. He keeps himself busy with rowing and voluntary work
in a travel agents' club and the local church. He was very excited about my living in Texas since his idol is John Wayne,
and he wanted to walk where John Wayne's walked before....but now he is equally excited about my being in SE Asia and loves
reading guide books to plan his next trip!

Here are my sister Nikola and brother Peter. Both are more than 10 years older than me, but we get along great! They still
live in Germany and we try to see each other every time I am back home.
