Well this is a kinda philosophical question so for now I'll just show some snippets of essential information about me
and you'll be able to find out more from the other pages!
- Born and bred in Cologne, Germany
- Studied Environmental Science in the UK: B.Sc. at Lancaster University; Ph.D. at Leeds University
- Spent 3 months working in south-west Spain in the Rio Tinto area. Still my favourite place in the entire world!
- Started working for Shell International as a geologist in Rijswijk/The Netherlands
- Transferred to Houston/USA and enjoyed the opportunities Texas and the neighbouring states and countries had to offer.YEEEEEE
- HAH!
- Currently in Sarawak/Malaysia and discovering Asian culture, nature, food and people!
When I am not busy building reservoir models for offshore Nigerian oil fields, I like to
- go horseriding (I had to leave my horse Gatlin behind in Houston)
- box and kickbox (ideally competitively if I can find willing opponents)
- swim, surf, sail, water ski, snowboard, skydive, scuba dive
- drink tequila slammers and dance in cozy bars and clubs
- listen to live music
- generally enjoy life to the max and try anything new at least once!

ALTERNATIVE ROCK!!!
Nickelback, Staind, Incubus, Tantric, Fuel, Joydrop,
Saliva, Creed, Adema, Puddle of Mudd, Butthole Surfers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Godsmack, ........ other stuff too, Bandits,
Live, and a little bit of lighter pop music including Anastacia and Pink.
But will also happily listen to anything including jazz, classical, country etc.! The main thing is, music.
